- All MIS applications require an ITS Username / Password to login.
- The ITS Username was previously referred to as your UnixID.
- Your username is that part of your email address that precedes
the @ sign.
- For example:
david is the username for david@hawaii.edu
- Typically, departmental usernames cannot be used.
- For example:
If you use a departmental address such as sece@hawaii.edu, "sece"
cannot be used to login to a system.
- The University is targeting the ITS Username to become the single
sign-on for all future applications. While some of you who have
departmental email that did not need a username previously, you will
need it to login to many future applications.
- IMPORTANT:Login information is
controlled centrally by Information Technology Services. While web
applications may be for a specific office/department, login problems
can only be resolved by ITS. To obtain a username, change your
password, or to resolve a login problem, contact the help desk at
